Nambiar’s Sri Dhanwanthari Ayurveda Hospital

Our parent dispensary “SRI DHANWANTHARI VAIDYASHALA” was profounded by the Late Kelappan Nambiar which was taken over by Late K.T.N Raman Nambiar in the year 1930.

The Vaidya’s of the Vaidyashala were well versed and known for “Nadi Pariksha”, an unexplored but very efficient diagnostic tool in Ayurveda. The Vaidyashala had a small panchakarma theatre an in house pharmacy, where in a variety of Medical preparations were made and dispensed to the patients of the vaidyashala exclusively.

Later in the early 80’s the vaidyashala was taken forward and shaped into Nambiar’s Sri Dhanwanthari Ayurveda Clinic by Late Bhishak Chakravarthi Dr. K Ramachandra Nambiar, the youngest S/O “Bhishak Rathna K.T.N Raman Nambiar”. An expert Nadi Vaidya himself worked relentlessly compassionately for more than 4 decades in the field of Ayurveda.

Dr. K Ramachandra Nambiar dream of elevating his services through a bigger endeavour of his career. In the year 2015 he set up Nambiar’s Sri Dhanwanthari Ayurveda Hospital in Barkur, Udupi. To Back him up here, is his next generation of Ayurveda doctor’s.

In a span of 7 years i.e in 2022, the hospital furnished from 5 bedded to 15 bedded with 5 well equipped and hygienic panchakarma theatres, well furnished in-patient Department, 4 out patient consulting room, neat and tidy kitchen, Medical stores etc.
